Several years ago l made a few trees. They were inspired from an image I saw from the Hallowed Haunting Grounds. And based on Canto 13 of Dante’s Inferno It appears as a dark wood with no evident path running through it, filled with trees “not green, but of dark colour” with “branches [...] Nightmare was one of my 1st endeavors in carving foam. I carved a Styrofoam wighead and laminated it with papertowels and Sculpt or Coat. He is painted with acrylics. He sits on a small black tricycle in the graveyard or the witches area each year. He has a sound track and controller ran [...] Over the past few years The Trees have always been a popular item in my display. I made the trees after being inspired by an image from the Hallowed Haunting Grounds (which is no more). The first tree, was an entry in a contest at Hauntforum.com . He is affectionately called “stumpy” by [...] For a contest at Hauntforum.com I decided to make a twisted broken larger than normal doll. Dolly was born from a restless sleep one night. Her head is carved from a Styrofoam wighead, coated with Sculpt or Coat. She is painted with acrylics, and her dress is dirtied with SOC mixed with dirt. [...] |
