Mr. Lo Pan Detail

by Grim on 2008/06/10

I am finally gotten around to going thru a bunch of 2007 Halloween images. I have some nice pictures of Mr. Lo Pan. Here I have cut out some sections of a larger image so if you are curious you can see the detail. more detailed and textured than my other stuff and its hard to see unless you see him in person. The red lighting we used on him makes him more difficult to photograph as well. The pictures below here were taken on Halloween night lit as they were in the display with par cans and gels, with a Digital SLR.

These next pictures were taken by me with a Canon A610 and a few colored floodlights for the hauntforum contest so I could turn in my entry for the contest. This isn’t to show that I’m a better photographer than my friend with the SLR, because I am not. Its simply to show that haunt lighting is very hard to photograph in.

He is 95% Monster Mud, chicken wire, muslin, and cheese cloth. And a bit of urethane foam and mache and elmer’s glue. Oh and some air dry clay. …and lots of painting.
