Frankenstein skin painting

Frankenstein skin paintingHere is one from the archives. I have had this picture uploaded for a while it seems but never posted it. If there is interest I will post a full write up on the paint process. When I started Frank he was just a head sculpt. Then I decided to make him a full bust sculpt. The base came about due to necessity.

This piece is all Celluclay and Paper clay on a wire mesh armature. It was airbrushed with acrylics and inks. At this stage in the process I was adding shadows to the skin tones.

Geez, do you even have to ask? ;> Write away! I enjoy the behind the scenes look at props and such.
