I have been completely consumed with “The Monster” the last few weeks. It is now fully assembled. I just need to do a bit of final touch up and such.
This has been a real challenge, both artistically and skill wise. I have used all build and art skills I have learned over the years and also acquired some new ones as well. I have pushed myself in new directions and thought a lot about process. I think I will be changing the way I work on involved pieces like this. Stay tuned for the final pictures and detailed post on this piece in the coming days.
I do believe you’ve outdone yourself on this one. It’s very evident that you’ve pulled out all the stops to create a deep illusion with this piece. The concept is great, but the execution is really where the vision comes together. It’s one thing to have a solid idea. It’s another thing entirely to materialize it with such vivid details.
