Dugg The First Piece I Ever Sold

by Grim on 2010/01/13

I opened my Etsy Store in early 2007. I put a few pieces up there. I never really planned on selling anything I made, I was simply running out of room to store all the things I made in my shop. So in order to be able to continue making things I would either have to start throwing away old pieces or sell them. I had made Dugg a few months before listing him and when he sold I was a bit at a loss. I had never had to say goodbye to a piece of my work before.

Over time I have came to terms with it. If I make a piece with intent of selling it I have no attachment issues when it sells. Originally all of the pieces I sold I had made for myself, so parting with them was an odd experience.
